Step 1. To create a new page on your website, head to your “Dashboard” area.
There are two ways you can create a new page. One being to duplicate a current page so you will not need to redesign each individual page.
Step 2a. (To duplicate a current design and page you have already made) Left mouse click on the page you wish to duplicate or hover your mouse over the page and left mouse click “Page Options”. You will see a menu in which displays the following options, “Duplicate”, “WebPaper Subdomain”, “Page Statics”, “Assign Your Domain”, “Your Domain – Page Name”. Left mouse click “Duplicate”, this will create a copy of the page you duplicated.
Step 2b. (To create a whole new page, NOT duplicating) Left mouse click on “Add New Page” Add New Page
Once you have created your WebPaper.co website, you might want users to sign up and provide feedback and ideas on topics you want to talk about. This can be done by going to http://tal.ki Just sign up and customize the way you want your forum to look, once finished you will be provided with an embed code that you can then copy. Once copied you will login to WebPaper, find the page you wish to add the forum to and click the (Edit) button.
On the page editor, click the (Add Text) icon this will add a text box with a red outline and the word new inside it. From here you can click inside the text box and remove the “new” text. Once the text is removed just paste the embed code and click (Save)
The forum will now be embedded into your website, click (Public View) to view your website to be sure. Now you are ready to start posting on your forum and telling your friends to join and make comments, and provide feedback on your website.
First you must be logged into WebPaper, from the “Dashboard” just click “Edit” on the page you wish to add the link to. Once you are in the editor, you will see this icon at the top left hand side of your page. You will then see a pop up asking for the “URL” of the link and if you want to open in a new window check box if so.
From there the link will be added in blue ariel font, you can adjust the font size, font style and font color as well if you wish to on the link.
**HINT** Keep in mind you can make images a link as well by double clicking the image and adding a “URL”.
When using folders to arrange your website pages you want to click on manage folders Manage Folders From there users can create or edit existing folders as they wish. To adjust folder settings, simply left click on the folders name. A pop up will appear, from this menu users can add password protected settings to lock their website. Along with a payment option through PayPal, before the public may view the website.
Why would someone want to lock a website?
Maybe the website offers some private information you only want friends and family to view.
Why would one want to charge for someone to view the website?
Maybe you are selling photos, or videos, this would be something you let the public view but at a cost.
There are a few ways to maneuver through your layers. One way to do this is to click on the layers icon . Once you click on that a prompt box will appear on the left side. Within the box are your different layers which you can rename by simply right clicking on the specific layer. This way allows you to see which layer you are clicking on, you will know because it will be outlined in red. Also instead of clicking on the layer you can use the shortcut, “alt L” and you layers will appear.
The other way to move through your layers is to simply just click tab. This way isn’t as efficient, but it is quicker if are are just making a quick adjustment and you need to find the specific layer. So the quick way to move through your layers is to click TAB until the layer you want is outline in red.
To add a Google Map within your website, go to Google maps. Type in your location and destination within the A and B section. Once your destination is confirmed, at the top right under sign in there is a link icon. Click on the link icon and a drop box will appear with “Short Url” and “Paste HTML to embed in website”. Copy the “Paste HTML to embed in website”. Go back to webpaper and the page you would like to add the map to. Once you are on the page insert a text box and paste the the code with in. Once you have saved it, it will appear within public view.
You simply click and highlight the text you want to change. Once you have the content selected scroll over to your editor and under fonts click the arrow. After you have selected that a drop box of different font selections will appear.
To check your used images storage on your Webpaper account, you must be logged in and navigate to your dashboard page. is what it will look like within your dashboard. To lower the amount of storage you used, you will need to delete some images in order to decrease the percentage of storage used on your Webpaper account.
To delete unused images on your webpaper account, Go to your “dashboard”. Then click the “Manage Images” the icon looks like . You will then have a pop up of all your images that are on you account. Then simply find the image you choose to delete and hit the red “X” icon that looks like . Upon doing so a pop up prompt box will ask if you are sure you want to delete the image, to delete the image click “ok”.
