Making your own Website for FREE

Developing your own website may seem like a breath taking task but I assure you it is not. With a little guidance in the right direction you should be up on your feet as a web developer in no time.

For those of you who are thinking “Why would I want to take the time to learn this?”. Well first off you will save yourself a headache, time and money. Most of the time people will say it will cost you now but later it will pay off. In this case it works both ways; now and later it pays off.

Some recommended programs to use along side with WebPaper are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Edge, In-design, or any other graphic design software.

Getting started is simple and easy with WebPaper.co. WebPaper allows you to easily develop, change, and add things to your website instantly without programming know how. From HTML, CSS to PHP WebPaper does it for you. There’s no need to get confused now because this concept of no programming is the first step to realizing that remember computer programming languages is out the door for those of you who want to get started NOW and without a delay.

  • Simply move image, content boxes, and applications by left mouse clicking on the four way sign at the top left of layers.
  • Re-sizing objects such as Content boxes, and Images can be done by left clicking and holding while dragging to your desired width and or height. (HINT holding Shift while manipulating the size of a object will re-size it proportionally.)
  • Importing a images onto WebPaper is easy. Right click with your mouse on your desired image. You will see a drop down menu pop up displaying an option within this drop down called “Copy Image URL“. When pasted (HINT use ctrl+v to paste on windows) you will see the URL to the image like so (http://www.google.com/logos/2011/Googles_13th_Birthday-2011-hp.jpg). Now go into your WebPaper Editor and click the “image icon” that looks like “Image Icon“.  After clicking this icon you will receive a prompt box pop up called “Image Properties” . Under this title you will see “Image URL:” field, in this field paste (HINT right click and select paste or use CTRL+V on your keyboard). Once pasted into the field you then left mouse click “Ok”.  The prompt box will then close and your image will be added.

This is for FREE WebPaper accounts so the image is not hosted on WebPaper’s servers but on the website you took the image URL from. (HINT you may lose images that the website changes or deletes; you have no control over this)

For paid WebPaper accounts you may upload images to your WebPaper account for storage. To upgrade your WebPaper account go to your dashboard and click the green “Account” icon that looks like WebPaper Account
